20 year old Moce, Lau native Sakiusa Dokosabau has been stranded in Seoul Korea for more than a week after he missed his flight to Nadi.

Cricket Fiji Media Liaison Officer Lewis Keane said he was coming back from England to Fiji with a stopover in Korea but he missed his connecting flight from Korea to Fiji.

“He is staying safe with the Fijian ambassador Filimone Kau until he can get on a spare flight home.  I’ve chatted with him whilst in Korea and he is well looked after.  These things do happen.

Lewis Keane said he would be back when they have a spare seat on a flight.

“We have embassies overseas specifically for these unforeseen situations,” Lewis said.

The fast bowler was part of the Fiji team that took part in the World Cricket League Division 6 in Essex, United Kingdom last week.
