Shalendra Prasad together with businessman and Lautoka soccer president Babu Ratan Deo and former Rewa President Pranil Singh will be in the North this week to discuss  plans for the future of football.

Prasad, former Lautoka Football president is contesting the upcoming Fiji FA presidential election.

It is likely that the team will arrive on Thursday evening and meet with district officials of North on Friday and Saturday.

“I have been receiving calls from the Northern Division delegates to meet them after we launched our manifesto on Tuesday (today),” Prasad said.

“We had plans to go earlier to the North but few districts requested if we could come over next week as they were little busy this week.

“The response has been very positive as for the first time they have been offered assistance through grant.

“During my meet with them, my team and I will explain the delegates the changes we propose to bring which in return will help them in many ways.

“My two days visit would also provide an opportunity to them to meet Deo personally.”

Prasad said his looking forward for the trip to North.
