Police are looking for four masked men who allegedly robbed the ANZ outlet at the Nausori Airport on Monday night.

Police Chief of Intelligence, Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Henry Brown said investigations were continuing into how much was stolen.

Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro confirmed the four masked men were armed when they arrived at the outlet on Monday night.

They were believed to have been armed with cane knives and stones, she said.

According to sources at the Airport, the four men ran into the airport at around 8.30pm and allegedly threatened some employees of the bank who were at the counter, before taking off.

It is also alleged the group ran away with local and foreign currencies in a black Toyota Fielder which was later abandoned at Mokani village in Tailevu yesterday morning.

Witnesses allege the four entered the outlet just minutes before the arrival of an international flight.
