Our booming tourism industry has prompted the Raffles Group of Hotels & Resorts to refurbish and redevelop all three of its hotels and resorts.

These include Plantation Island Resort, Lomani Island Resort and Raffles Gateway Hotel.

As the group moves into this exciting period, a new management team has been appointed.

Heading up the team is Bradley Robinson in the newly-created role of chief executive.

Mr Robinson has extensive management experience including roles with the Lion Company, Mantra Group and most recently the Management Group Australia.

He values pursuing excellence in end-to-end service delivery and will bring a focus on overall business health in driving the developments within the Raffles Group.

Mr Robinson said: “The investment in management is the beginning of an exciting phase of development.

“We have three fantastic properties currently in the group, each with their own strong brand and unique offer.

“We intend to build on the strengths we are already renowned for, by continuing to deliver great value and authentic Fijian hospitality as we rejuvenate the properties and expand our offerings over the coming two to three years.”

Other appointments
Meanwhile, Akshay Singh has been appointed as Group director of Sales & Marketing.
Mr Singh comes with a well-accomplished background in this field having also worked in Cook Islands and Australia.

He is skilled in his ability to manage competing priorities in high-pressured and fast-paced working environments and will oversee the communication and brand execution of the new developments.

Rounding out the new positions is Group Human Resources manager Lily Wong.
Ms Wong previously brought structure and policies into the human resources department of the Fiji Revenue and Customs Authority and the Reserve Bank of Fiji.

The group properties
The Raffles Group is over 40 years old and offers a range of product to suit most visitors.
Plantation Island Resort in the Mamanucas is the quintessential island experience, a three-star value for money resort great for families of all ages, couples and groups.

Lomani Island Resort is a boutique four-star adults-only resort nestled in the heart of the Mamanucas.

Raffles Gateway Hotel is conveniently located across the road from Nadi International Airport and provides pre and post accommodation for an island stay or exceptional service for corporates or last minute travellers.
