Fifty-two elderly members of the Senior Citizens Home in Samabula, Suva, expressed their gratitude to Sanjee Singh and his family when they visited the home on Monday.

The family provided dinner for the elderly who are residents of the home.

Mr Singh, 45, was born and raised in Tamavua, but now resides in Vancouver, Canada, with his family.

“For 25 years I have been staying in Vancouver with my family and I am a cab driver. I always help handicap people to get into my taxi,” he said.

“I like helping people and I usually do the same in Vancouver.

“Once in a while, people should do community work to thank God for whatever they have,” he said.
