The world-wide press release in March on the images of the 2016 Ford Ranger had created much eagerness amongst Shreedhar Motors customers.

The company received numerous enquiries as to when the new Ranger would arrive in Fiji.

And now it’s finally here! The new 2016 Ford Ranger XLT was unveiled on Wednesday evening at the Shreedhar Motors showroom in Vatuwaqa, Suva.

The Minister for Industry, Trade and Tourism, Faiyaz Siddiq Koya, unveiled the latest vehicle for our roads.

Shreedhar Motors chief executive, Arvin Narayan, said the presence of the Ranger on our roads was a clear indication that the product had been well-accepted and fulfilled the needs of people.

“The Ranger stands apart from traditional pickup trucks with an array of smart technologies that enable new solutions to everyday challenges,” he said.

“It also features a stylish and smart functional new interior.

“We know that Fijian drivers want their pickups to have both the ruggedness of a truck and the comfort of a passenger vehicle.

“We are confident the new Ranger offers them this versatility, helping them achieve more, whether at work or with their family.”

Shreedhar Motors National Sales manager, Jagdish Chand, said the biggest changes in the 2016 Ford Ranger have been made under the hood and in the cabin.

Some are already aware of this, he said, given a number of units have already been sold even before the official unveiling indicating the demand by customers.

The 2016 Ford Ranger has:

  • Increased fuel efficiency and powers
  • Stylish new interior with great smart technologies
  • Free Sampling of Products in store
  • Increased and improved safety features
