Fiji Year 10 Certificate Examination

The Minister for Education, Heritage & Arts, Mahendra Reddy wishes all students sitting their Year 10 examination next week the very best.
The Fiji Year 10 Certificate Examination will commence next week with 14, 937 students writing the examination.
There are 167 centers within the country in which this examination is instituted.
From these 167 centres, there are 27 centres in Nausori, 13 centres in the Eastern Division, 35 centres in Suva, 24 centres in Macuata/Bua, 13 centres in Cakaudrove, 20 centres in Lautoka/Yasawa/Nadi, 14 centres in Ba/Tavua, 14 centres in Nadroga/Navosa and 7 centres in Ra.
The Fiji Year 10 Certificate Examination will begin on October 5, 2015 and ends on October 13 2015.
In this examination, five new centers will be presenting their candidates in the examination for the very first time. These schools are:
- Uluivalili Secondary School
- Vatuvonu Secondary School
- South Taveuni Secondary School
- Ratu Lalabalavu Secondary
- Saint Francis College
“I wish to once again remind students to enjoy their examinations and do their very best. This is an opportunity for students to assess what they have learnt throughout the year and I am encouraging them give it their best shot.
“Year 10 level is an important level as students prepare themselves to choose their career pathway in Year 11.
“The subjects they take up in Year 11 will very much determine the future career pathway a student will take. I am urging parents to provide their children with all the support they need in this important time,” the Minister concluded.
