Northland is ready to face the BLK Nadroga for the sixth HFC Farebrother challenge at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka today.

“Our preparation has been the same for the past years,”assistant manager Levani Kaunivanua said.

“We try to take one step forward in trying to improve our standard and style playing against Nadroga.

“We have been improving in our performance during the Skipper Cup tournament and the boys are doing well.  We are ready for the game and  we all know Nadroga is a good team,” Kaunivanua said.

Northland will be playing without some of their key players like captain Isireli Ledua, Banuve Drekiverata and Joe Tukana who are with the Republic of Fiji Military Forces team currently on tour in England.

“We’ll be banking on our forwards to do the damage and I know that Nadroga we’ll try their best to stop us.”

First five-eight Ilimeleki Leiloma will also not featured in Saturday’s game as he has joined the FWCC Red Rock team in preparation for their tour to Australia.

The team has included former Tailevu’s first-five eighth Sunia Bainivalu.
