Tuidraki Weds Molele

Nadi Rugby Union rep, Jone Tuidraki wed his high school sweetheart Lavenia Molele in Narewa Village, Nadi yesterday.
The couple made vows in front of families and friends at the Narewa Methodist Church.
The 25-year-old Narewa native was on cloud nine on his big day.
“I cannot describe how happy I am and want to thank my wife for accepting me,” Tuidraki said.
Both had attended Mt Saint Mary’s Primary School before joining Ratu Navula College.
Tuidraki was happy that he finally met someone that understands his life and his rugby.
“Even though we were at the same primary and high school I am so thankful that God has given me a pretty wife that understands and cares about me,” he said.
Tuidraki, who plays at centre, began his rugby career at Ratu Navula College and plays for the Airport Rugby Club.
“We were part of the Under-19 grade from the Western Division to qualify for the Deans Trophy semifinals in 2009.
“I was also a member of the Fijian Under-19 that won the Federation of Oceania Rugby Union (now Oceania Rugby) the same year.”
He was part of the USP rugby team and played provincial rugby for Tailevu alongside national rep Henry Seniloli for a season.
Tuidraki hails from a rugby family including former reps Orisi Dawai, Vuate Driu and Josefa Levula.
“My plan now is to try to make it into the national team.”
He represented the Nadi basketball team that played in the Easter Games.
Lavenia was over the moon and speechless and vowed to support her husband to be a better rugby player.
