The President, Ratu Epeli Nailatikau, last night urged the private sector to work with Government to ensure there was sustained economic growth in Fiji.

Ratu Epeli closed the Top Executive (TOPEX) Conference, an annual conference organised by the Fiji Commerce and Employers Federation (FCEF), where he also urged the private sector to make the most of Government initiatives.

He expressed his confidence that Government, trade unions and the employers would come together for the betterment of the nation and agree on a common ground to avoid a commission of inquiry into Fiji.

Ratu Epeli also unveiled the name of the new building in which FCEF and Fiji Hotel and Tourism Association are investing in.

Construction on the new building “Employers Hub” is expected to be completed in one month.
