About 35 kindergarten students of Navua Mission Kindergarten visited the Fiji Sun head office in Walu Bay, Suva, as part of their first school fieldtrip this year.

Kindergarten manager Lusia Leo said the visitation to Fiji Sun would expose students to how a newspaper company operates.

She said the Fiji Sun and Fiji Television Limited were two media companies that accepted their school visitation requests.

“We are privileged to be given the opportunity to visit Fiji Sun and learn about the different sections that make up a newspaper company,’’ she said.

Eta Reqeti, 5, said her favorite part of the tour was seeing the printing press for the first time.

The students were accompanied by two teachers and several parents.
