Breath-taking But Brutal Says Ryan Of Dune Workout

It was a change of scenery for our men and women 7s side this morning as they took on the Sigatoka sand dunes for a “brutal” work out.
At least that’s how Fiji 7s coach Ben Ryan described the morning session. For Fijiana coach, Chris Cracknell, he described the workout as a ‘Brilliant finish to the week…’.
Both coaches took to twitter and instagram to highlight the sand dune session which ended with the traditional thanksgiving devotion.
The Sigatoka sand dunes are as hard a fitness session as I’ve ever seen. Beautiful, breath-taking but brutal. pic.twitter.com/u8tpBh7617

The Fijiana team has yet to qualify for a spot in the Rio Olympics next year. Only Australia and New Zealand has qualified. Next month they compete at the Oceania qualifier to take place in Auckland.
