Japan- based professional Dinesh Chand is looking forward to his second Fijian International this week.
Chand, 43, was happy more local players playing this year.
“Last year I wasn’t fully ready but I’m better prepared now,” he said.
Chand arrived into the country on Thursday and played with Sam Lee at the Natadola Bay Championship Golf Course.
“I will have to practice more before the tournament starts.”
Chand rates the NBCG as challenging.
“I’ve played in Asia but I’ve never seen a golf course that is close to this, it is so beautiful,” he said.
Meanwhile, a media briefing for local media were held last Friday. The Fijian International starts on Thursday and ends on Sunday.
