Kamil, Saraswati Meet In Final

Kamil Muslim College will meet Saraswati College in the  Courts Inter-District Championship Secondary Schhols  final today.

Kamil  Muslim secured a 0-0 draw against Nadi Muslim College in their final pool match while Saraswati College defeated Natabua High 2-1 to secure their spots in the final.

Kamil Muslim coach Azad Ali commended the team for the good result.

“We are looking forward for the final and it will be tough,”he said.

“We beat Saraswati last year but this is another one.”

Saraswati College principal Wasu Deo  said they were adamant of a win today .

“Kamil won the title from us last year and we need to make amends this time. Our boys are all injury-free, we have lost two times to Kamil but this is our revenge,” Deo said.

The Nausori side will be boosted with the inclusion of Rewa duo Bruce Hughes and Simeli Batiratu

The secondary schools final will be held at 12 noon today.

 

Primary schools final

Ba will meet Labasa in the 2015 Courts IDC Primary Schools Division final today at Govind Park, Ba.

The host side defeated Nasinu 3-1 in their final round robin match yesterday while Labasa held Nadi 1-1 to book their spot in the final.

Ba coach Timoci Seru was proud of his team’s achievement.

“It was a good game, Nasinu gave us a tough game, “he said.

The Primary school finals will be held at 10am today.

Senior Division

Navua, Taveuni, Tailevu-Naitasiri and Rakiraki have booked a semifinal spots in the Courts IDC at Govind Park in Ba today.

Navua will face Taveuni at 9am while Tailevu/Naitasiri will battle Rakiraki.
