200 Days And Counting, No Arrest In Seeto Case

Charges are yet to be laid in relation to the killing of Chief Executive Officer of Lees Trading Company Holland Seeto.

It’s been more than 200 days and no arrests have been made. A suspect was taken in for questioning earlier this year but was released due to lack of evidence. No one has been arrested or taken in for further questioning ever since.

Mr Seeto, 59, died from stab wounds in his office in Laucala Beach Estate on the morning of January 29 this year.

Similarly, no one has been held accountable over the mysterious death of a 12-year-old-girl who died in her house last year in her home in Samabula. Its been eight months and and there are still no arrests.

Police spokeperson Atunaisa Sokomuri said investigations for both cases were ongoing.
