Rugby World Cup Learning Experience For Leeroy

Vodafone Flying Fijians prop Leeroy Atalifo says the 2015 Rugby World Cup (RWC) was a huge learning experience for him.
The 27-year-old firefighter will always cherish playing his first RWC.
“It was a huge learning experience for me and I feel so proud to play in this RWC,”Atalifo said.
“Although we miss out a spot in the quarterfinals, we showed the world that we can tackle Tier One nations as well.
“The knowledge I gained as a prop and also other technical aspects from head coach John McKee and forwards coach Frans Ludeke is a big gain for me.”
Atalifo has gained a lot of confidence and will fight for his position in the team to play in the 2019 RWC in Japan.
“The Flying Fijians will be a team to beat in the 2019 RWC as we have learned a lot from the best coaches.”
Atalifo was on Monday welcomed to a morning tea at the National Fire Authority Headquarters in Suva by his workmates.
“I’m so humbled to get this treat from my colleagues and the support will motivate me to be a high achiever,”Atalifo said.
