FIJI Water Healthy Combo is a new initiative to promote awareness on non-communicable disease (NCDs) in Fiji.

Damodar Events Cinemas chief executive officer Div Damodar, and Natural Waters of Viti Limited CEO, Rokoseru Nabalarua, have brought the idea to fruition and will dedicate the next two months to encourage healthier lifestyle habits.

They launched the FIJI Water Healthy Combo promotion at the Damodar Events Cinemas in Damodar City, Laucala Bay, yesterday.

Mr Damodar said FIJI Water was a product they grew up with.

“We are very fortunate to have a product like this in Fiji and to be associated with it,” he said.

Mr Nabalarua said FIJI Water had always looked at new ways and new things to do.

“We believe in being creative, very critical and to be associated with Damodar Cinema as it is leading in Fiji when it comes to Cinemas and to be able to bring something like this, that’s quite unique and launch it today,” he said.

“FIJI Water has become a global brand and we are now in over 64 countries and we will continue to grow but the interesting thing about this initiative is really geared towards healthy choice which is also aligned to the core of the company.”

Meanwhile, Vodafone Flying Fijians coach John McKee said he was happy with the support by FIJI Water who are one of the sponsors of the Fiji Rugby Union.

“It’s really great to see Fiji Water in some supermarkets in Australia, it makes us feel proud and hope that it grows and I also thank the people of Fiji in supporting the team in all their games and I will now look forward to having Fiji Water at the cinema,” he said.
