Koroilavesau Sworn In

Government Whip and newly appointed Minister for Employment, Productivity & Industrial Relations Semi Koroilavesau hopes to continue the work of its former Minister, Jioji Konrote.
Mr Konrote resigned a week ago after being nominated for Presidency.
Mr Koroilavesau was sworn in as the new Minister at the Government House in Suva yesterday in the presence of Fijian President, Ratu Epeli Nailatikau and Acting Prime Minister and Attorney General, Aiyaz Sayed- Khaiyum and other Cabinet Ministers.
Mr Koroilavesau commended Mr Konrote for the work he has done for the ministry and said he hoped to continue from where Mr Konrote left off.
“There has been a lot of work done by General Konrote and I basically have to follow it up and he is a very experienced gentleman,” he said.
