The 22nd Australia Fiji Business Forum opened with a keynote address yesterday morning by Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama at the Novotel Manly Pacific Hotel in Sydney.
The forum, which ends today, will see a diverse range of presentations from Fiji regulatory authorities to the private sector investors.
The forum theme is “Australia and Fiji: An Enduring Business Partnership”.
First held in 1987 and most years since, the Business Forum is the annual bilateral business meeting between Australian and Fijian business.
Participants get to learn about business opportunities in Fiji, and to network with senior Australian and Fijian policy makers and senior businesspeople.
The 2015 Forum aims to provide Australian business with information on current opportunities for business in Fiji.
It also aims to provide an opportunity to bring more closely together Australian and Fijian businesses which already have a long history of partnership.
