The chiefs and people of Bua in Vanua Levu were once again reminded not to involve themselves in sedition activities.
This was voiced by Nabouwalu Police Station officer Eroni Soqosoqo during the Lekutu District Meeting in Bua on Wednesday.
He urged village headmen to report any person who was involved in such act.
“Anyone who is insane and has no knowledge will be part of this sedition movement,” he said.
“We won’t tolerate any such action and Police are monitoring and we will be doing our district monitoring as well.
“People, especially villagers should familiarise themselves with the law and try to sort out ways to act against this sedition movement.
“No one is expected to come down that low in trying to set up a movement like this to go against the Government,” he said.
Mr Soqosoqo also cautioned the people Bua against involvement in criminal activities.
He also urged them to refrain from starting bushfires.
He said bushfire had become a crisis in Bua and he urged the people of Lekutu District to refrain from starting bushfires.
