Brisbane retained the Fiji Australia New Zealand Canada and America (FANCA) International Club Championship title 2015 at Prince Charles Park in Nadi yesterday.

The Australia-based team edged Lautoka with goal scored by Soneel Khan in the 18th minute.

Lautoka came close to scoring a number of times.

Star turn: Lautoka gave Brisbane a good game.

Big play: Brisbane’s Soneel Khan played well throughout the game.

Comments: Brisbane coach Shanoon Khan said: “Lautoka was a good team they came out firing and I thank my boys for their effort in winning the trophy again this year.”

Lautoka coach said Mohammed Iqbal: “We did a good job, the boys played really and we are just a young team. Reaching the final is huge success.” Semifinal results: Lautoka 3-1 Maigania, Brisbane 2-1 Papatoetoe.
