Special Win

Matt Kuchar won the 2015 Fijian International at the Natadola Bay Championship Golf Course yesterday.
Ranked No. 16 in the world, he shot a three under par 69 yesterday for a total score of 284 (- 4).
The 37- year old collected $202,500 while Aaron Price of Australia, who carded a one under 71 ($114,750) came second with a total score of 288.
“Winning is a hard thing to do regardless of where you are, there are strong players everywhere,” he said.
“It’s been a great week that I will never forget this win. And it’s good to have my dad Peter caddy for me.”
He was overjoyed to see his two sons Cameron and Carson on the 18th hole.
“I played some really good golf to try and have a chance for this title. I played some great golf this week and excited to come out on top.
“Fortunately I was in control and I was never in any trouble.
“ I made some good putts particularly on Friday. It was still difficult to shoot a couple of under.”
He said the victory got him back to the winning circle.
“It’s been over a year since my last win. Hopefully this get me back into the winning circle soon on the PGA Tour. I told Aaron (Price) as we were coming up on the 18th that this something that is going to help me in the long run.”
His dad Peter Kuchar, 65, said he knew that his son would make history.
“Matt is among the top players of the world and I know he’s good.”

Congrats Matt Kucher winning Fiji Int. With 6yr old son he went to find Osea & Emosi at dinner last night to find out more about rugby. 👍
