Labasa Primary Schools Under-14 team is confident of winning the 40th Bongo Fiji Primary Football Association (FPSFA) School Inter-District Championship (IDC).
The three-day tournament will begin tomorrow at Guru Nanak Primary School in Labasa.
Coach Ajesh Prasad said the team returned last week after winning the 77th Courts IDC beating Ba 1-0 in the final at Govind Park.
“The 20 players are from 15 schools in Labasa,” Prasad said.
“I have made no changes because I am satisfied with our preparation.
“The last time Labasa won was in 2013 and we hope to bring back the glory.”
Rohan Nath, who was the highest goal scorer in the Courts IDC, said he was confident of achieving the feat.
“I will definitely do my best to score more goals,” Nath said.
Team captain Ronish Singh said teamwork was the key to success.
Their first pool game is against Savusavu.
