The Nasinu soccer will be out to cause upsets in the 40th Bongo Fiji Primary Schools Football Association Inter-District Championship (IDC) in Labasa.

Team president Brij Singh said players in their team came from eight schools.

“We have prepared well, but there were some hiccups along the way like the weather which affected our training. Nevertheless the players are determined to win,” he said.

“We will do our best in the pool games and try to avoid silly mistakes that can cause us penalties. We have told the boys to do their best.

“We had some financial problems because hardly the sponsors come to primary schools level and help these teams. “We are thankful for the support from our families, teachers and supporters of the team.”

The team reached the quarterfinals last year and are camping at Holy Family Primary School.
