The Ministry of Education is aware of students’ involvement in Bongo 40th Fiji Primary Schools Football Association (FPSFA) Inter-District Championship.

Minister for Education Dr Mahendra Reddy said the three-day tournament in Labasa would provide a platform to students to demonstrate their talent.

“Students gets motivated and also feels recognised,” Dr Reddy said.

“Their studies will not be affected as Year Six and Year Eight examination is over while Year Seven will be week after next,” he said.

Seven schools are participating in Under-12 category while 18 teams are in U14.
