Seaqaqa Primary School player got in between Great Pacific Hotels Limited Ba players in the Bongo 40th Fiji Primary Schools Football Association (FPSFA) Inter-District Champion final at Guru Nanak Primary School ground in Labasa yesterday.
The Fijian Football Association will set up Centre of Excellence and development centre in Seaqaqa.
This was confirmed by Fiji FA technical director and former National U-20 Coach Ravinesh Kumar who was the chief guest in the final day of the Bongo 40th Fiji Primary Schools Inter-District Championship in Labasa yesterday.
“I am very happy to see Seaqaqa Under-12 and U14 teams reached the finals,” Kumar said.
“I know there are potential players and I urge officials to continue to assist their players in the development of skills,” he added.
Seaqaqa Primary Schools U14 manager Mohammed Imran thanked Fiji FA for considering Seaqaqa.
“We eagerly await the setting of the centres,” Imran said.
It will augur well for us.”
