Never underestimate your capabilities, says Lieutenant-Colonel Isoa Loanakadavu while talking to some Year 12 and 13 students from schools in the Nasinu and Suva areas  yesterday.

Lieutenant-Colonel Loanakadavu was invited to mentor the students after their seven-week tutorial at Ratu Sukuna Memorial School (RSMS).

The tutorials were to prepare them for this week’s Fiji Seventh Form Examination (FSFE) and Fiji School Leaving Certificate (RSMS) in the next fortnight.

Forty-five students attended the classes which were organised by the Republic of Fiji Military Forces (RFMF) Women’s and Mother’s Club.

“Do not doubt yourself,” Lieutenant-Colonel Loanakadavu said.

“You have done your best during the last seven  weeks and I believe you can achieve your target.”

Club president Salote Tuinavesi said this was an investment for the students.

“We have been organising this programme for the past four years and they had shown positive results,” Mrs Tuinavesi said.

William Cross College Year 12 student, Pauliasi Sicinilawa said the tutorials helped solved a lot of his Maths problems.

“I asked a lot of questions in Maths and the teacher took his time to explain the formulas.”

The Fiji Seventh Form Examination starts tomorrow.
