Bright Future Films is hopeful that the Westpac Prime Minister’s Exporter of the Year’s Awards will provide a larger platform for recognition.

Managing Director Rajnel Prasad said winning the awards will continue to provide the motivation to help more local youth and drops outs to enter into the film industry.

This is the first time for the film and television production company to apply for the annual awards.

Mr Prasad said: “I think this is a great platform to boost our skills and motivate us more to work hard.

“Also a great platform for the youth to be more motivated to increase their opportunities, and make use their skills. It’s never too late to be a business person and fulfil your dreams.”

Bright Future Films has applied for the Ministry of Youth and Sports Youth Entrepreneur Award category.

The company has previously participated in other competitions and came out shining bright.

Mr Prasad proudly said:  “We have won several awards in International Fiji Films Festival and Kula Film Awards.”

The Westpac Prime Minister’s Exporter of the Year’s Awards will be held at the Sheraton Convention Centre on Denarau Island next Saturday.
