The Love Birds

A leading figure in one of our urban centres has been raising eyebrows – not in a good way. As the boss, he rules with an iron fist, and tells workers that no one dare go against him. He uses the fear factor to control the workers.

Now, he has used his position of influence, to romance a naïve female worker who is looking for love after her marriage failed.

They have been caught in a compromising position a couple of times in the workplace.

His brazen sexual escapades have now become a source of entertainment for some but resentment for others.

Looks like he is smitten by this new love in his life who told him last week: “I am a hard person 2 luv but when I luv I love relly hard.”

Shop watch

Commerce Commission needs to turn its focus on the small retail shops, especially those in the rural areas. Not just the urban supermarkets.

On that note random raids should also be conducted by Police on such shops suspected to have stolen goods. But then it’s not much help when Police officers are regulars at such shops.

No wonder people have more faith in military officers. Sigh.

Fishy business

So a health officer was seen exiting a shop with a bundle of fish but those who are in the know say that no money was paid for the fish.

Really?
