Laucala Island Wins At 2015 World Travel Awards

Laucala Island has been named Australasia’s Leading Private Island Resort 2015 at the 2015 World Travel awards. The hotel was also nominated for the 2015 Fiji’s Leading Hotel Suite. The

Laucala Island has been named Australasia’s Leading Private Island Resort 2015 at the 2015 World Travel awards. The hotel was also nominated for the 2015 Fiji’s Leading Hotel Suite.

The exclusive private island managed to scoop the award amongst six other resorts across the region.

Also nominated were Fafa Island Resort in Tonga, Vahine Island in French Polynesia and from Fiji Nukubati Island Resort, Taveuni Palms Resort, Turtle Island and Viwa Island.

 

Fiji’s leading

Royal Beach House at the Qamea Resort and Spa has been awarded with Fiji’s Leading Hotel Suite 2015. The resort has previously won Leading Spa Resort in 2012 and 2014.

Also nominated for Fiji’s Leading Hotel Suite 2015 were Governor’s Bure at The Wakaya Club and Spa, Hilltop Estate at Laucala Island, Fiji Imperial Suite at Sofitel Fiji Resort and Spa Royal and Regent Suites at The Westin Denarau Island Resort & Spa and the Royal at Vomo Island Resort.

Fiji’s Leading Resort was awarded to Jean-Michel Cousteau Fiji Island Resort. Also nominated were Sofitel Fiji Resort and Spa, Taveuni Palms Resort, The Westin Denarau Island Resort & Spa and Turtle Island.

While Vomo Island resort was named Fiji’s Leading Spa Resort 2015.

Also nominated were Namale Resort and Spa, Qamea Resort and Spa, The Wakaya Club and Spa and The Westin Denarau Island Resort & Spa.
