Fiji, A Well-Equipped Team

Australian Services Rugby Union team captain Luke Miles commended the Republic of Fiji Military Forces (RFMF) team.
Miles was impressed with the outstanding performance the Fijians delivered during the final of the International Defence Rugby Competition in London last week.
Miles said it was a good experience playing against the Fijians.
“The game we had against Fiji was the first time I had played Fiji and I would say they were really a good team and they had taken the game to the next level looking at the outstanding performance they did,” he said.
“Fiji is a very committed and a solid team and they took it all the way to the top so we are very happy for Fiji.”
He believed it was a good experience for him and his team.
“It was a really good experience for all teams and it is good taking over the Southern hemisphere with the contingent of Fijians, Samoans and Tongans so we had a wonderful opportunity to play against them.
“We are just going to reconsolidate and continue with our training and hopefully play a few friendly games when we get back,” he said.
Meanwhile the Tongan and the Australian teams were part of the RFMF celebrations in Nadi on Monday night. They flew off yesterday.
