I Will Do My Best For Rio: Nacuqu

Nippy Nacuqu is adamant on wearing the white jumper again for the Vodafone Fiji sevens team to Rio next year.
The Malakati, Yasawa native plays for Daveta Rugby Club alongside Jasa Veremalua, Jerry Tuwai and Savenaca Rawaca.
Nacuqu while speaking to SUNsports yesterday said his ultimate goal was to be named in the 7s squad for Rio.
“I have been working extra hard and I am adamant making it to Rio next year. But at first I will have to prove myself first to the coach and the management,” Nacuqu said.
He also said playing in local clubs has helped him a lot in gearing up for the competition.
“God has a plan for everyone and my success for the past couple of years is all because f God.
“I thank my first-cousin Pio Tuwai who has been my great mentor.”
He also has plans to move on and play club rugby overseas.Nacuqu encourages youths to follow their career path and always strive for success.
“It’s a great sport, you can make a good living in professional rugby and travel to places you never dreamt off just keep working hard and persevere. I encourage young men and women who have interest in rugby to pursue their careers,” he said.
