Macuata Provincial Youth Sevens tournament co-ordinator Peni Rakanace confirmed that Vodafone Fijians Sevens head coach Ben Ryan would be present at the tournament.

“At the end of the tournament it will be announced who will be the 16 players to participate in sevens tournament in Dubai and South Africa.
“This tournament is a good opportunity for the players in Northern Division to showcase their skills and talents for future selection as the national 7s coach will be present to watch all the games.”
He said right now 28 teams have confirmed their participation.
“We are hoping to have 32 teams and the registration will close tomorrow (Friday) as we planned to do the draws,” Rakanace said.

“We would like to thank major sponsors Nukubati Resort, Fiji National Sports Council and BSP Life and other minor sponsors for their support,” Rakanace said.
