Pacific Fishing Company Limited will be constructing a new cold storage costing to $16 million in Levuka this month.
This was disclosed by the board chairman Ikbal Jannif after the shareholder’s Annual General Meeting yesterday.
Mr Jannif remains the chairman of the board; Etonia Seru is the director and Bhupendra Kumar is the director for shareholders.
Mr Jannif said: “What we shared with the share holders is progress on the cold storage and they were very interested in knowing how it was going to look like.”
He added 2014 was a reasonable year for them as they collected a profit of $310,000. “It was not as good as the previous year but we had some challenges through the year. “If we are able to meet that challenge than we will do a lot better,” he said
The ground breaking ceremony will be held on the 18th of this month.
