Tourism Fiji’s marketing budget allocation has been increased by Government for 2016.
The Budget announcement by Minister for Finance, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum on Friday, saw $30 million being allocated to Tourism Fiji for marketing.
This is an increase from the previous $23.5 million.
Tourism Fiji executive chairman, Truman Bradley, said the figure really worked for them and that was close to what they had made their submission for.
“It shows Government’s commitment and belief in tourism as a large industry player and we are going to start marketing in places we have never been before,” he said.
