Three Fijian lifters includes Manueli Tulo, Apolonia Vaivai and 15 year old Eileen Cikamatana.
“They training very well with the other lifters and it’s not easy. They are training five hours are day and giving their all during training.
“Weightlifting is a serious sport, when you lifting weights you need to put your mind, soul and body and the stress 24 hours are day and you might get injuries.
“When you lifting heavy weights you need to be prepared and I know they are prepared to face any circumstances and I know all the lifters can do better,” Coffa told SUNsports.
12 weightlifters from around the Oceania countries will try to win a spot for 2016 Rio Olympics.
“We’re training twice in a week and training once in the weekend which will put the boys and girls into good shape before we leave on Tuesday next week.
“This is the biggest world championships in history and looking forward to their performances,” he added.
The team are currently in Suva and will leave for Houston next Tuesday.
