The Land Transport Authority (LTA) has suspended close to 150 driving licences from January this year to date.
The licences are for drivers who had accumulated more than 20 Traffic Infringement Notices (TIN) and especially those found with multiple speeding violations.
Over 6000 motorists have been caught through the Land Transport Authority (LTA) speed cameras for speeding.
The three LTA static cameras have been installed in Nabua, Kinoya and the corner of Edinburgh Drive, Samabula and Princes Road while there are two more mobile cameras roving around the Western and Central divisions.
LTA noted that almost 50 per cent of TINs issued were for speeding with 25,124 bookings made.
