Claims by Government critics  overseas about the health of Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama have been proven wrong again after he returned to work yesterday.

Speaking to the Fiji Sun at the Coronation Ground at Government House after the inauguration of President Jioji Konrote, Mr Bainimarama confirmed he took a few day’s rest.

He brushed aside claims by the long-distance Government critics that he was very sick.

The PM, meanwhile, leaves the country on Sunday for overseas engagements and meetings.

He will attend a sugar meeting in London next week, the ACP Ministerial Council meeting in Brussels, before heading to Malta where he will deliver the keynote address at a business forum.

He will then travel to France for the France and Oceania Leaders meeting in preparation for the 21st Conference of the Parties(COP21) meeting in Paris.

After the meeting, he will return to Malta for the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting before travelling again to France for the COP21 meeting in Paris from November 30 to December 11.
