Students and teachers of Nasavusavu Special School and Labasa School for Special Education with the chief guest Ministry of Agriculture Officer Sujendra Prasad (sitted in the middle) gathered for Northcose Games in Labasa yesterday.

Students of Nasavusavu Special School and Labasa School for Special Education participated in the Northcose Games in Labasa yesterday.
Northcose Games president Teang Aisea said they revived the event after three years because the Northern Council of Special Educations has to contribute to their website which would be launched on December 3.
“The purpose of Northcose Games was to enhance updates for the website and build a positive relationship between students and teams of special educators in the North,” Aisea said.
She said next year the committee would organise a better programme.
Chief guest Sujendra Prasad told the students sports always helped to improve both physical and mental strength.
“Life is just like a game, sometime you win and sometimes you lose,” Prasad said.
“Through sports students can learn to accept both defeat and victory with grace.”
Students participated in football, obstacle course, tunnel ball and baseball.
