Radrodro Tabualevu has tendered his resignation as chief executive officer of the Fiji Rugby Union to the FRU Board because of personal reasons.
In a statement yesterday, FRU stated Tabualevu tendered his resignation on Monday and will serve the notice period to complete all his pending work prior to leaving Rugby House on December 8.
Tabualevu thanked the Fiji Rugby Union Council, the FRU president, the board, all stakeholders and likewise the media for their support during his tenure at Rugby House.
“I wish the Fiji Rugby Union all the best in its future endeavors and will continue to support Fiji Rugby as it strives to become the Olympic and world champion.”
The FRU Board of Directors acknowledged Tabualevu’s resignation and thanked him for his contributions.
Meanwhile, the FRU Board in liaising with World Rugby, will immediately begin the process of identifying a suitable candidate to replace Tabualevu.

Telecom Fijiana Manager
The Fiji Rugby Union is yet to confirm the appointment of the new Telecom Fijiana manager.
The interview process has been completed and an appointment will be made shortly.
The current Vodafone Fijian 7s team manager Ropate Kauvesi will manage both the Fijiana and men’s 7s teams until the new appointment is finalised.
