$3m Splash For Big Bula Waterpark

2016 will be an exciting year for Tourism in Fiji and the Big Bula Waterpark hopes to help with a $3 million facelift.
The Waterpark is one of the feature activities on Denarau Island, Nadi.
Big Bula Waterpark director Trevor Fox said, “This year Big Bula Waterpark has been busy with an addition of a further development to its original Water Park – a multi-million dollar investment in the tourism industry.”
“With large new pools and plenty of shaded areas to relax, Big Bula Waterpark will be the place to be in the Fijian heat.”
He added the new concept and construction of these waterslides means Big Bula Waterpark can cater for every one of all ages, shapes and sizes.
“This enables the market that is open for every size and every age group.
“Before it was for the young people. Coming with project this big and attraction it is something big back home in Australia and New Zealand.”
It will include a construction of a 15 metre high tower which includes six waterslides with a combined length of over 420 metres. There are a lot of things underground.
The pump pool sucks water and sends it to the top platform and feeds into the main pool where it all will be sliding into but overflow chamber and everything is done to the best standard.
Mr Fox said the construction started three months ago as it was defered earlier due to some unforseen circumstances.
It is expect to be in full operational in February together with the $2 million investment with the original park.
