The Telecom Fijiana team has booked their place at the 2016 Rio Olympics in Brazil after thrashing Samoa 55-0 in the finals of the Oceania 7s competition in Auckland, New Zealand.

This is the third Fijian team to go to the Rio Olympics with the first being the Vodafone Fijian 7s team and the Vodafone Fijian U23 football team who qualified for the Olympics at the Pacific Games in Papua New Guinea earlier this year.
