The 2015 Pacific School Games which starts in Adelaide, Australia on Saturday will aid in the development of young swimmers.

Coach Jennifer Liew said 49 swimmers they were hoping to come back as better athletes.

“These swimmers are very young, the most experienced one is Rosemary Rova who is also our flag-bearer for the opening ceremony,” Liew said.

“The young swimmers would be trying to get their personal best times. I’ve a lot of confidence in them and they are prepared to do the best they can do. This is one of the hardest competitions in the Pacific region,” she said.

“We’ve been preparing since last year and our swimmers are ready to go out there and learn and develop.”
