Underwood Tops Year 4
It was a dream come true for Semi Underwood when his son, Isaac Underwood, received the Year 4 Junior Level Dux award during the Marist Brothers Primary School prizegiving yesterday.
“I am happy and proud of my son for receiving the Junior Level Dux award,” Mr Underwood said.
“My son has been receiving top awards from Year One and I was expecting him to take dux prize this year.
“I was really happy when my son told me that he would receive the dux award.”
“We always hear about our son’s achievement and academic performances from his teachers. My son has completed his junior level and now he needs to become competitive and work hard to get dux awards in primary and secondary levels as well.”
Isaac said: “I have worked hard to fulfill my father’s dream to become the dux this year.”
“My parents have been supportive and helpful towards studies,” he said.
