The Fiji School swimming team landed in Australia yesterday ahead of the 2015 Pacific School Games. The Games  will be held in Adelaide this weekend.

In a correspondence with SUNsports yesterday, team media liaison officer John Krishna said the team enjoyed their flight to Australia.

“The team’s arrival was fantastic, good service on the plane, the kids were well behaved and we are happy that we have landed safely.

“Now the main target of the team is to obviously try and get as many medals as possible and also to break records.

“Preparations have been good. The team was split into the central and the western sides and they had training sessions everyday,” Krishna said.

“Basically we’re expecting to gain a lot of experience from the Games. We have is a very young team with a lot of prospect swimmers.

“We can’t really rate the swimmers of the other countries since we haven’t seen them compete. But we’re going in knowing that it won’t be an easy task,” he said.
