One of Miami’s favourite turntablist or disc jockeys (DJs), Aristh Delgado, is here to show and teach our local artists just how it’s done.

Known by stage name DJ Craze, Delgado, he is here thanks to Technical Glitch Fiji, Your Paradise Events and Tourism Fiji.

Delgado, as he is commonly referred to believes that local DJs in the country have the potential to be better experienced music players like him.

The famous American music mixer showcased his unique abilities during a workshop organised by two of the country’s best, Christopher Mallam and Albert Eastgate.

“Fiji is amazing and beautiful and I love it here,” he said.

“My message to the local DJs is to keep practising a lot and keep following the path they are at now,” Delgado said.

“This career takes up a lot of focus and determination and then you can be whoever you want to be.”

The Miami, USA lad was chosen by Kanye West to tour with the pop star in 2008.

He started DJ with his brother when he was young and when he turned 15 he began to slowly develop into becoming a professional DJ.

Technical Glitch founder Christopher Mallam said: “This is a great platform where our locals get to witness international experts perform to create a local industry that is up to international standards.”
