Parents and guardians of students of Jack and Jill Kindergarten yesterday were reminded to value their children because they would be leaders of tomorrow.

The reminder came from the Then India Sanmarga Ikya Sangam (TISI) national president, Waillamme Swami. She was chief guest at the kindergarten graduation.

“Our children are our biggest asset, so please your investment is very important. What you put in at this point in time will be profitable in the future,” Ms Swami said.

“Early childhood education is a branch of education which relates to the teaching of young children formally and informally. We are all aware that ECE plays a vital role in the education system so we must take heed of it,” she said.

Ms Swami urged the parents and guardians to tap into the talents of their children to determine what their future would be like.

“Every child has a talent in his or her own capacity, but the important thing is knowing what talents they have and build on them as capacity building helps them to grow accordingly.

“It is good to see them graduating. I wish them well in the future,” Ms Swami said.

Meanwhile, 123 graduated from the kindergarten and are ready for Year One next year.
