Adi Vani Nibicau and Mere Vocevoce were happy after winning medals in the girls Under 9-10 categories in the 50metres for Nadroga Navosa yesterday.
The duo also participated in their respective grades in the 4×100 relay team that won the gold in the U9 and U10.
“Our aim is to win gold and we are very grateful and out teachers deserve all the credit,” Nibicau said.
Vocevoce dedicated the win to her parents.
“My family has sacrificed a lot for my training and I can’t wait to go back home and show them my medal,” she said.
