Lull before new storm?

It seems all quiet on the SODELPA front. Could it be a lull before another storm?

Tupeni Baba is in Samoa. At home questions are being asked about the report he and former diplomat Emitai Boladuadua are supposed to prepare for the management board. They are members of a disciplinary committee that looked into an inquiry report prepared by a team led by Anare Jale.

The inquiry team had examined the controversial Gaunavinaka report which was prepared after an audit of the Opposition Office.

The confidential report was critical of the leadership of Opposition Leader Ro Teimumu Kepa and the governance of the Opposition Office.

Party inheritance

When SDL changed its name to SODELPA, the new party inherited a legacy that included some debts.

They have been cleared now but some SODELPA members are asking whether it was right to do it. They argue that SDL and SODELPA are two separate entities.
