Minister Reddy Explains Why Some Schools Late In Results
Education Minister Mahendra Reddy.

The Ministry for Education, Heritage and Arts is aware that some primary schools in Fiji have not picked their Year Six Certificate Examinations results yet.

This was confirmed by Minister for Education, Heritage and Arts Mahendra Reddy yesterday.

The results were released by the ministry last Friday but some schools, when contacted, had told the Fiji Sun they had not received their results.

The Minister has informed primary school head teachers to pick their results from the nearest district education office.

“The results are in one batch and we cannot send the whole result to one school because of confidential matters,” he said.

“They are advised to go to their district office who will only print out the result of that particular school.”

Mr Reddy said for the maritime schools they would be emailing the results.

The ministry has also urged students to come with their parents or guardians to pick up their results from their schools.
